The First UK Click Medical Training Days at Steeper HQ

Taking place on the 14th and 15th February at Steeper Headquarters, we were pleased to welcome Leo Hessels, experienced CPO in the Click Medical range along with our very own Clinical Support Specialist, Tim Verrall. The two training days provided clinicians and technicians in the fields of orthotics and prosthetics with a comprehensive understanding of the products available, along with their clinical and technical applications.

Click Medical is a medical innovations company that creates orthotic, prosthetic & casting solutions based on Boa Technology® components. With three key divisions, their approach is simple: to create prosthetic and orthotic devices that are as comfortable and high performing as possible, all while still being easy to use and adjust. Led by Leo Hessels, the Steeper training days covered the three main product areas within the Click Medical range:

Orthotic Solutions
Click Medical’s OrthoFit™ range of orthotic solutions brings a whole new world of possibility to custom orthotics. By integrating a Click Medical kit containing Boa® components, orthotists are able to produce custom devices with unprecedented fit, function & comfort.

Prosthetic Solutions
The RevoFit™ range of prosthetic solutions enables prosthetists to fabricate micro-adjustable prosthetic sockets. Once integrated, the fabricated socket fit can be instantly customised, by micro-adjustments of the Boa® reel by creating compression, suspension and closure around the limb.

Casting Solutions
The CastFit™ casting solutions provide a revolutionary tool for casting technicians. Use the kit to maintain proper fracture reduction and stability while allowing the patient to adjust the volume of the cast in response to swelling or pain issues.

Overall, the day was a great success with plenty of happy delegates, “the day was very beneficial. It is always nice to know how something works and how it is supposed to be manufactured before being asked to put it together.”
