Steeper Showcases Innovation and Collaboration at OTWorld 2026

In May, Steeper returned to Leipzig, Germany, to exhibit at the 50th Anniversary of OTWorld Congress as part of the Eqwal network. As one of the world's leading events for orthopaedic treatment and care, OTWorld provided the perfect platform to connect with new and existing customers, distributors and industry partners from across the globe.

Over the four-day event, our team welcomed visitors to the stand, sharing the latest developments in upper limb prosthetic technology and demonstrating how collaboration across Eqwal Group is helping to advance patient outcomes worldwide.

The Steeper area focused on our advanced upper-limb products, including the Espire Elbow range, Myo Kinisi and High Definition Custom Silicone, each designed to support greater functionality, comfort, and confidence for prosthetic users. As an exclusive preview at OTWorld, we introduced the Junior Myo, a new 6 3/4” myo-electric hand, giving customers and partners an early opportunity to experience the product which will launch in the summer.

One particular highlight of the week was the collaborative workshop delivered in partnership with TASKA. Prosthetic Product Manager, Lorna Aitken, demonstrated how the Espire Elbow and TASKA CX Hand work as a world class upper limb solution to the attendees, explaining how patients can perform everyday tasks with greater confidence and independence.
