The Pro Armour Lite is designed for users who like to explore off the beaten track. The protective cover aims to reduce damage and premature wear associated with exposing prosthetic devices to sand, dust, dirt and water. The result is a cover that provides users with the confidence they need to get outdoors, something Pro Armour founder, William Pike has a personal love for.
After being caught in an unexpected volcanic eruption on Mt Ruapehu, New Zealand, William lost his right leg. After a gruelling rehabilitation, he returned to the great outdoors but found his limb would frequently malfunction as it collected dirt, dust, sand and water from everyday environments like the garden and the beach. He decided to do something about it, and Pro Armour was born!
We’re thrilled to be introducing the Pro Armour Lite to our lower limb product portfolio. We’re excited by the partnership with Pro Armour and how amputees in the UK will benefit from this highly practical product.
The Pro armour Lite gives users the confidence to do more by being:
Splash, dust, sand, and dirt proof
The Pro Armour Lite gives users the confidence and freedom to do more, without worrying about foreign objects damaging expensive prosthetic components. It is designed to reduce the need for constant cleaning of components. This simple accessory can save both patients and prosthetists valuable time by reducing build up within the foot shell.
