Orthotics Technician - Leeds

We have vacancies for motivated team players to join our company as Technicians, working within our Repair and Adapts, Insoles and Made to Measure departments in Orthotics.

Duties/Responsibilities:
To do this role you will need to be confident at using hand tools, and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll also need to be focused and able to demonstrate that you can operate in a high-pressure volume related environment, ensuring that all work undertaken is ready for delivery within the relevant timescales.

In addition, you’ll need to:
  • Work with fellow technicians to improve processes and overall production effectiveness
  • Maintain KPI’s (key performance indicators)
  • Train and develop others in the team
  • Undertake training as deemed necessary
  • Ensure all QA systems and working practises are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Ensure that all NCRs are processed without a backlog
  • Troubleshoot issues as and when required
The ideal candidates will have previous experience within Orthotics Manufacturing.

You will need excellent communication skills, and be eager to learn new skills. You will need to be passionate about quality and “right first time”, and be able to work well with others in a team.
