We currently have a vacancy for a motivated team player to join our company as an Orthotic Technician working within our orthotic department in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.
Due to the increase in demand in manufacturing, a technician is required in this area for production of all TLSO, AFO and KAFO production, including cast rectification and plastic moulding. The role may also include working within the covering department with leather and metalwork teams.
Duties / Responsibilities:
In this role you will assist in the manufacture of orthoses or orthotic parts, following agreed procedures and specifications as detailed by the Orthotist and issued by the supervisor.

You will need excellent communication skills, and be eager to learn new skills. You will need to be passionate about quality and “right first time”, and be able to work well with others in a team.
Minimum one years’ experience as an Orthotic technician is desirable, as is metalwork, woodwork or similar craft training. However, whilst experience is an advantage, consideration will be given to none-skill applicants who, if successful, will receive full on-the-job training.
