About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Officer to join our existing team at Steeper HQ, Leeds.
The Product Marketing Officer will contribute towards delivering the Steeper marketing strategy, driving the forward direction of the brand externally and within our parent company, Eqwal Group. Ensuring product announcements, catalogues and education/training opportunities are well received by our global audience. The Product Marketing Officer will be Involved in the whole creative process from generating and interpreting briefs to creating content, as well as implementing and measuring the success of marketing campaigns.
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging product-focus content across the Group – appropriate for the specified audience including website content, presentations, video, training materials, email, brochures, social media posts and exhibition materials
- Create product-focused case studies to share how devices have improved the lives of patients
- Responsible for the creation and upkeep of product catalogues
- Support the HOD with material creation to be used across Eqwal Group in support of the Products Division
- Develop instructional product videos for use by clinicians, patients and distributors.
- Work with the sales and clinical teams to provide regular training updates via UpSkill, Steeper’s online training resource.
- Act as custodian for the online learning platform UpSkill by Steeper and to ensure consistent usage across audiences
- Optimise the Steeper and clinic websites to promote devices and increase search volumes, suggest strategic direction for product listings on website
- Manage the product requirements and displays for exhibitions
- Contribute to the product marketing strategy
- Track spend and performance of all materials
- Build relationships with agencies where required and manage the briefing process, content creation and representation of the Steeper brand
- Work as a team to ensure the image library is up to date with accurate representation of current product range. Obsoleting old imagery as product ranges update
- Consistent proof reading of all materials
- Champion the Steeper brand and ensure adherence to brand guidelines throughout the company
- Maintain best practice and standards of professionalism
- Other duties within your capabilities as and when requested
- Develop and implement advanced SEO strategies
- Facilitate the management and segmentation of customer and clinical databases
- Participating in and providing support for roadshows and exhibition
Personal Attributes:
- You will be an outgoing individual with a flair for design and communications. Attention to detail and an ability to work on your own initiative, prioritising tasks and taking responsibility will be essential. A willingness to learn and develop new skills is a must.
- Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Marketing Team, either as an Executive, looking to take on more responsibility and autonomy for creativity and campaigns or we will consider those working as an Assistant or similar role, looking to take the next step in your career with a demonstrable portfolio of campaigns.
- Educated to degree level in Marketing or similar field or having completed your CIM Professional Diploma or Level Four Apprenticeship. A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential, particularly InDesign and Photoshop alongside digital marketing expertise. Knowledge of SEO processes would be an advantage.
